Since people have mentioned upcoming games of interest, here is one of my favorite: Port Royale

I noticed a pre-order on Steam with 15% discount.  It is coming out in early May.

Actually, there is another game called Patrician, that is made by the same company that uses the same concepts, but it is based in Baltics (Hanseatic League), rather than Caribbean.  I prefer that one, but still, I am looking forward to an update to the Port Royale.  It will most likely be based on Patrician 4 engine...
