Expansion problems

Hi,

Since the Beginners world was pretty much full up on all the major airports, I decided to try and be clever with going for a slightly smaller airport (Stockholm-Skavsta, ESKN). This has backfired after a short amount of time as I can no longer find the demand in order to grow the airline, due to all of the large airports having routes to the base airport. I do have a few routes good routes operating to larger places like LHR, Roma and Dusseldorf with a fleet of 7 B737-200Adv, but the demand is not there to operate these routes more than once a day. These is zero demand for domestic flights to this particular airport.

I've come up with a few options of how I can work around this problem and am wondering if any of them would be viable.
1. Relocate to a large airport and compete with other airlines.
2. Relocate to a simillar sized, new, airport, such as LCY as that opens in around 23 game days.
3. Build CI, compete for routes to EHAM and LFPG in an attempt to take over these routes, then create a second base when the time has passed.
4. Just be happy serving Denmark's crappy airports with 15 seat aircraft.

I'm not wanting to waste any money on new routes or aircraft if it isn't likely to be successful, so any help would be appreciated.

I have the same issue right now...

I chose SAEZ, and found many profitable routes without competition...

Now, that I'm solid at 2.5m profits a week, I'll open some routes with competition...

I think it will be better to compete for some routes, one at the time, while having a strong base income from no competition routes, than relocate to an already taken airport, and to compete for every single route rigth from the beggining...

As for going for a route already taken, or be happy serving crappy airports, I'll go for the routes with competition. DK if I'll succeed, but it will be more fun for sure...
