Refuelling stop reduced demand

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a bug or an intended feature?

I am trying to make a trip just under 9000nm, due to the aircraft range I need to have a refuelling/tech stop. However when I do this the route demand drops from 450 down to 2 passengers a day. It appears AWS is giving me the demand from the fuel stop when making my final destination selection, as opposed to treating it as one whole flight, with a break.

Is this normal behaviour? Or something I should post as a bug?

Sami

Base demand with or without fuelling is the same. (but refuelling stop reduces the passenger preference on your particular service when it is flown)

You've probably looked it up wrong?

When i've been doing it has been done as: base airport>refuel stop>final destination as opposed to doing it base>final dest>refuel stop as I tried to do my first time setting up a refuelling stop  :P

On this routing I have been hitting the globe thing which brings up passenger demand details after placing in the refuelling/tech stop. This si when I notice is going down from 400 or so to 2. So I just assume this is due to me refuelling then that this demand is decreasing. Would choosing another fuel stop change the demand or does it not matter?

Ignore it is fixed with the new update. I will check the announcements before posting again.

Thanks for fixing it Sami.

Well, it was never broken, as far as I know.  When constructing a tech stop route in the previous version, you needed to look at the graph of the final route, not that of the origin -> tech stop or tech stop -> destination.

No, the demand is still 450. You are looking at the demand FROM the fuelstop to destination, the demand that matters is from your base to dest.
