Hello again.
i return to a previous VERY SMALL airport because i tried a normal size and it was easy, ajajaja.but when i red this from a "guide for newbs" y wanted to try,"You CAN build a great airline from a smaller city.", but isn't as easy as it seems.even it's difficult, i want to ask if can be possible that this situation happens.if somebody could help me with hints or advices i would appreciate. thank you!

It's difficult to figure out what specifically you're talking about...  However, if you're referring to an airport with a Significant (4) rating or less, it's very plausible to build a successful airline.  You have to be realistic with the profit margins, depending on where you choose you can generate a modest profit.  I operate out of Kathmandu Airport in Nepal, not a large airport by any stretch of the imagination, but there were a number of available open routes that I could comfortably expand into which is what made me successful.

Additionally, I operate another airline in a different game out of Kota Kinabalu (similarly sized small airport) but I noticed that the domestic demand was through the roof on a few routes that were under-served.  If it's an airport like Kota Kinabalu where the country it's located in has a medium to high number of airports, your best bet is to start out 100% domestic (meaning, market domestically only, fly only domestic routes etc.).  From there you will see profits if you have picked your fleet correctly based on demand/commonality.  Once profits are moderate you can expand from there based on demand.

There is no reason any airline can't be successful, it just takes careful planning and above all else, careful choice of headquarters.
