OVER-SUPPLY

Master

I had reported a serious "over-supply" problem to the Admin (to sami), but I have not get any feedback (positive or negative) yet.

Is there any other way to accelerate the process? Because the oversupplying guy is still in charge !!!

Which route is over-supplied? A quick scan of the routes from your base doesn't sound any alarms to me.  ???

I just opened up in your base a day or two ago, and I haven't noticed any route that's oversupplied. Admittedly I haven't looked at anything longer than 2000nm yet.

Of the routes you're flying, the only one that even looks like being oversupplied is Istanbul-Burgas on a Saturday, there are 325 seats for ~90 pax. But since it's only one flight, it doesn't count as oversupply. You have 52 seats, your competitor has 325 seats, but since you have one flight each, you should both get ~45 pax.

If there is an over-supply the offending airline will be sent warnings and finally the system will auto delete the over-supply routes to bring it back into line with the game rules.
An airline is allowed to supply a figure slightly less than 200% of the average demand before over-supply rules apply.

PS - several airlines could also supply the max allowed with no breach of rules (except alliance partners), so you can end up with a massive amount of seats offered with no breach of rules

PPS - an airline could also fly a 200 seater into a 20 pax demand route and still wouldn't breach the rules as long as it is a single flight (don't know why you would do this though)

Is he talking about oversupply or slot hogging?

Sami

Well, you PMed me less than 24hrs ago, and I just replied.

There is no oversupply on the routes you said (in PM), so check the charts again please.

TKS FOR ALL,

Here blw is the "situation"...pls tell me if this is an 'oversupply' or not (according to the game rules). Maybe I am mistaken, but just want to learn only the rules;

With demand at 180, each airline is allowed to supply up to 360 pax.  256 pax supply is well withing that max.

Master

So I got it & now know what to do :)

That would be me.

I've attached a screenie of my planning view for that route. As you can see, I'm supplying just over 100% of demand. I'd need to have 9 or 10 daily flights before I went over 200%.
