Glad I live in Norway..they don't approve of foreign brands here yet. 1st starbucks in the country opened in April or something this year at OSL..I think the floodgates just opened though.

Abercrombie & Fitch has so far been mostly a US phenomenon, but looks like the company is expanding all over the world:

Shouldn't your employer be paying for your uniform anyway? This is obviously exploitation of men. The heterosexual man, the most sidelined person in society these days.  :'(

I don't feel like an expolited victim.  Becoming a sex object has been my life's ambition...  ;)

I remember when they opened in London..caused quite a bit of controversy with the old stiff upper lips.

As far as Norway goes however...noone seems to open up their branches here.

The first time I saw an A&F in a US mall I didn't go in because I thought it was some seedy dungeon with the shutters and topless men. Turns out that's fashionable though I missed out on a trick.

I have no idea what one is and have never seen a A&F.

Thats what comes from spending your life;

1. not giving a damn about fashion
2. living in a succession of British rural backwaters!

Can't view the video here in Germany, because it contains content from SME (Sony Music Entertainment, IIRC)... I hate Germany :P

Sooo many good things are blocked in Germany... Call of Duty is only available in a "German P*ssy Version", Youtube fights in tons of lawsuits filed against them because of copyright, etc. Germany takes the "freedom of speech" and "artistic freedom" as serious as certain admins do :P (we had that thing a while ago... got named "The AWS arab spring" ;D )

cheers,

I quite like the internet in Norway..there's only 1 guy who is meant to track us all...and for him to get an injunction is close to impossible. Well, if I have understood it correct. Don't think Hollywood is very impressed with Norway. Such a controversial country.  :-\

It's not that you would see a whole lot if you went in.  It is generally very dark inside the A&F stores.  You can't even see what you are buying.  and of course, they have music blasting...
