if an airline purchases aircraft and wants to lease them out, are the lease prices automatically set? or does the airline set the lease prices?

The airline chooses the price to lease it out... well they choose the selling price, which the lease price is calculated from. Divide selling price by 80 for a rough monthly leasing rate.

thanks.

does that include the lease length? lets say i only want to lease out for 10 years, and after that 10 years i want to sell the plane or change the lease terms. is that possible?

Yes you can also set the minimum and maximum leasing times allowable. If the aircraft is leased out to a customer you can decide whether they will be allowed to renew the lease or not.
