Slot return

slots are a important asset, they can be of a high value.
Can i retur or sell the slots somehow?

Slots do not have any cash value so can not be sold or returned for cash.
You can only retain them if you cancel a flight (by clicking on 'do not return slots to public'), and then you must reuse them in a short time frame or lose them. I assume this is to stop the big players buying all the slots and storing them which would effectively block competition.

I see, makes sense. But in reality there´s something like a slot trade (just see british airways and bmi currently in heathrow..)

To keep AWS making fun some kind of reality functions aren't implemented or work in a different way.

You wouldn't have much fun when a big airline controls all the slots and if you want to buy some they simply say "no".
