Advertising in "cities" ~ more tools for advertising?

Heya sami, I was thinking of (no.. not how to bother you on your vacation..) but how to better improve the advertising we have.

I would like to quote from one of the recent beta changelogs you've made:
- Changes to calculation module:

  - Route image effect is now harder when you open up a new route. If you start a new route you can expect lower load factors for a bit longer than before.

  - Route-pair advertising affects also company image now (though very-very little .. but it does).

Now, I have noticed it takes a lot longer for the route image to raise, if you dont have any advertising on that route. Which helps with the overall balance of the game. Im not complaining.

However, for us to better combat the change, the only direct way is to add route advertising to every route we open.

Well, this can get quite cumbersome when we open new routes daily + have many "continuation" flights into and out of different airports with each new route. Thus, were quite limited in the amount of route advertisements we can do along with the fact its a pain in the ...

So.. I thought of this: Why not add an advertising option such as "advertising in a city". We could choose a city to advertise in. This would be like "route advertising" for every route in and out of said city. It would be great for players that use a city for a number of flights (sorry EWR and IAH based airlines.... :laugh:)

I think this could prove very useful for the majority of players. Being able to advertise by/per city would greatly reduce the need to open and close new route-pair campaigns. Saving time and money in the long run.

Note: This wouldnt end the need of using Route-Pair campaigns. Just reduce the amount a given player would have to start/stop.

~ You could make the city advertising more expensive then a route-pair, but slightly less then say a.. world wide general campaign.
~ Also, add a limit. So people (like me) wont try to abuse/invade every city  ???
~ Furthermore... cant select your own city for advertising.. that would completely ruin route-pair advertising..!! lol..

Whatcha think? Besides "leave me alone on my vacation!"

so if i advertise only in my home base city it means that i would save a lot and thus not advertising in other cities?

I like this idea.  Kinda like advertising in your home city under general campaign but in a secondary hub.
