He is blue on the photo because I shine an UV lamp on him there.

I'm just not sure whether to call him Curse, Mister Oates or Sami.

It's an emperor scorpion.

Unfortunately we don't have the permissions required to add a poll to an existing post.  SMF allows it, just sami hasn't enabled it for anyone other than Administrators.  I even tried to 'trick' it by forcing the URL for adding a poll, but it wouldn't allow it.

He's pretty big indeed, I estimate him at about 10 cm now, he'll become up to 20 cm...
