Does it vary according to where your home base is?

Based in the US, it seems to be 30% about everywhere.

Well, you can't get a tax return in Dubai either....

If you carefully balance you income and expenses (for the year), you can have effective tax rate of zero anywhere in the world.

That's what I was talking about....

use tax as a kind of a reserve... you pay like 50M (trying to downsize as I usually pay about 1bn-1.5bn) a year, and get the whole lot back at once.... a bit like a saving system :)
