Good choices but one was obvious. Let's hope our forum police isn't comparable to any totalitarian regime.

One was obvious, the other not so much.  I agree with you there.

I can just say that our job is not so easy as it seems, and every decision we make, is usually made in accordance with sami. However, our primary concern is to avoid any trouble for AWS: if we issue a warning to a member/user please note that, before sending any message, we have already conducted a through sereach on the web, in order to be sure of not causing any trouble to AWS and the single user.

Please remember also that what could be acceptable in some parts of the world could be unacceptable in Europe. To due AWS being a company based in Europe, we have to conform to UE regulation first, especially to IPR (TM and Copyright laws). So, if we issue a warning, it is because there could be a misleading message/ad using a name, trademark, logo or slogan, linking the fictionary airline to a real life entity/establishment.

So, please, remember that we are not imposing any regime as in 1984, but we are just doing our job. :)

My advice is simple: It's as easy as you make it for yourself.

Earn the respect of the users instead of expecting it and you will find yourself doing okay.

Good luck Edo

So you were working for/in a regime before/in 1984?! ;D

Do your job, we are okay, do it good we are fine, do it bad and you won't have too many friends here....

As alex already said:

Earn the respect of the users and you will find yourself doing okay.

From me as well the wish of luck, though I think this is more a question of skill and especially social skills rather than "luck".
