AirwaySim is looking to hire two new persons to our staff:


Forum moderator & support staff

• Your task is to browse our forum community on daily basis, and to answer to questions related to AirwaySim (= forum threads / user questions), and to moderate the forums if needed (move / edit / delete topics). You will also use the 'airline name moderation tool' to manage any reports on airline names & logos that are against our game rules.
  
  
• You must be at least 18 years of age, have strong skills on written English and a long history in using AirwaySim (= strong knowledge about the software and its usage). Preferrable location on US continent (= to be online during European night hours). Previous experience on forum moderator tasks is a big plus.
  
  
• Estimated time required: 30 mins / day
  
  

Graphics editor - Aircraft images

• Your task is to update our aircraft image database by adding pictures for the aircraft models that do not yet have an image; and possibly in the future add more aircraft images for the other listed models too.
  
  
• You shall search for suitable pictures and then be in contact with photographers to obtain usage rights for the images (more detailed instructions shall be given).
  
  
• You shall edit the photos to remove the airline logos & other similar identification (see examples from game area for pictures) and resize the images to suitable size before submitting them to us for inclusion to database.
  
  
• Project will start immediately (adding images for models that are missing one) and will last approximately until end of this year since aircraft database is still incomplete and approximately 50+ more plane models will be added and each of them needs an image (so work will be done in steps along the way once database grows).
  
  
• Strong skills on your favourite graphics editor (photoshop, gimp ..etc) is required, as well as knowledge about aircraft models & subtypes. (the end images are required in JPG format so you may use any software you wish for the actual work)
  
  
• Estimated time required: 1-2 hrs / week
