'Random' Lease charges

Once, maybe twice I've had a very odd charge for leasing - $20K the first time, and $60K the last time I saw it. Why does this happen? Not overly bothered, but I wondered why it happens.

I'm not sure I understand fully, but you pre-pay your leases for the first 4 months when you initially lease an aircraft and then after the 4 months is up the leases should appear on your income statement regularly.

No it was random charges of $20-60K rather than the $200K/month lease charges.
