Speed server, 2x speed. 15 minute days

As clear as it sounds. A game that's going twice as fast as current game worlds.

Some of us enjoyed the rush and fast management and fast game-play on the test server last weekend.
And from what I hear people did really liked the game going 3 times as fast as the normal ones.

That's why I want you to ask if you would be happy if there was some kind of speed server going twice as fast as a normal game would (2x speed)

Off course it won't come for free. Sami has to set up a server and he should be rewarded for tat, so a 2 credits per week fee should be appropriate I think.

The system clearly showed it an handle the fast amount of traffic, although I think some features might want to be suspended to ease congestion and traffic on the server.

Another option is to host some Short games which would only last 48 hours to 1 week. (normal fee would apply = 6 credits in total). In those "Week" or "Weekend" games there could be a nice war with planes. (3x speed would be perfect, like current test server)

Just a thought....

The server load from this may get pretty extensive.  Once 300 airlines get 200 planes up, I don't know if a server could handle all of the calculations necessary.

Using the test server as an example is not a good idea.  There weren't that many players, aircraft, and more.  There will need to be a test game done on it before anything changes.

Id love a speed game and do agree with the op

Which is why a weekend game would be such a great idea - nobody would have the time to get to 200 planes, but it would still be really competitive. Also, the map would need to be restricted, and there should be a really high player cap.

So a NAC, with 400 players, 10 minute days, for 3 days. Now THAT would be a game.

Why 2 credits/week instead of 1? Just asking.

Great idea, though.

Because the game goes twice as fast and setting up an server does require some effort of Sami, so he should be compensated well for it.

Furthermore, it comes as an extra service, and additional services should be paid for.
