Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help?, it has probably been covered but I'm having difficulty
in finding what I need so please be gentle with me.

This is the first game of Airway Sim that I have played, although I have re-started a couple of times
to get to where I am.

I am running a fleet of 727 ADV, with JT8D-17R engines, but if I obtain one with just JT8-17 engines
will that be classed as another engine type?, or would it be classed as the same?, the idea being
that I only want to run two types of engine as above and RR-RB211 on my 757's to keep costs
down. Any help on this matter would be great.

Oh, I'm playing Beginers world and trading as Danum International. And to be cheeky, if anyone could
help out with a livery for me as I'm making a mess of any of my own attempt's, I would forever be
in your debt.

Cheers,

Steve.

If you have -17 and -17R I believe they both go into the "JT8D" class in commonality.

Hi,

Since they're from same manufacturer and same engine family, that's same commonality.

Good strategy BTW :-)

Sami, would it be possible to have better indication of commonality levels for engines types? I had the same problem a few months ago with a P&W engine... A slight difference with the model of the engine and my commonality costs belw up of about 40k USD per month only becauese of that engine... :)

This problem is reported to sami a few months ago, however I'm not sure sami have a look on PW 4000 engines or not......
