Starting a Game

Newb question...warning...warning :-)

It seems that the game makes me choose a BASE before I can look at the demand on routes from the base. Is this correct?

I just joined the Jet Age 3, picked a base and now find that there are NO routes I can realistically fly from the base. relocation costs me half my money and takes 2 weeks.

Can I kill that airline and start again?

I tried to search routes before locking in my base but could not find a way to do it :-(

Yep, it's impossible to do all that planning before choosing your initial base. However, you have 3 bankruptcies, and while you're in that 1st base, you can do all your route planning basing it from any other airport in the world, and choose a good base. It just means you only have 2 bankruptcies instead of 3 after you do it.

Ah....time to read up about bankruptices :-)

It seems to me that this game engine needs some work. A good concept but needing a bit of tinkering!

It is a very good game, but this issue is one that has been raised and hopefully will be worked on - V1.3 or later sami?
