How is it that the Saab 340 counts as a medium aircraft?

Meh. I know that's the reason but why is the cut off 30 seats not 50 or something like that.

Medium aircraft spans from 32 seat Saab 340 all the way to 112 seat Embraer 195. I see your point coopdog. But yet the 75 seat DC-9-10 is a large aircraft because of its larger variants.

small a/c in this game are very small... for instance the Cessna Grand Caravan, Britten Norman Islander, and more.
