Maintenance price

Hi,

I think I have a problem with the weekly price of my maintenances actions.
I have only one plane. It's an ATR 42-200. Prices of maintenances are :

A : 2576 $
B : 6698 $

It's the first week of my company and I can see that the maintenance has costs 19800 $ for this week !
I don't understand why it coasts so much...

Have you some answers about that ? Thanks.

Hi Sami, I have a two aircraft airline, but one of them, a 731, is out of service. I am not flying it (it was a very bad decision to leases it...), I don't have crew/pilots for it and was able to clear the schedule A and B for it.
However I am still paying about USD 22000.- for crew training related to this 731, but  i don't have large a/c pilots on my staff!!!!

How can i do to solve this issue?

Crew training is also your technical staff etc... basiclly there is nothing you can do except terminate the plane's lease.  I always assume there is some minimal level of work you need to do on an aircraft even if it is hangered.

You might also get fined for not maintaining an aircraft properly. Terminating the lease is the easiest (and cheapest) solution on the long term.

In some countries, considered as "naturally endangered" (e.g. : Japan, Bahamas), regular maintenance of all aircraft is mandatory due to the risk of evacuation because of natural catastrophies.

No data on hand, that's based on when I was piloting in those countries (I've been to Jap, Bahamas and Canada). It's the stuff that local pilots tell you.

That's probably in the nice book of local regulation anyway.
