Lease financing question

Hi,

I noticed that the Lease monthly amount for any used aircraft is the same regardless of the lease time (1,2,3 years).. Shouldn't a shorter lease require a higher monthly amount than a longer lease?

Right now in the game, there is a disincentive to have a longer lease on the aircraft - because one is locking into a price of an aircraft that will be time have lower value when the lease renews.

Yes the aircraft will have a lower value when it comes time to renew the lease, but inflation will still cause a net increase in lease rates for any specific airframe (unless its maintenance condition has seriously deteriorated).
