Which aircraft are good alternatives to the Fokker 50? I'm a fan of them, but someone else has discovered them too and now they're getting somewhat expensive to lease. What other aircraft should I take a look at?

I looked at the F50 but went for the ATR series instead as it gave me more flexibility with the 2 basic sizes.  However, you need to be careful with your fleet comonality.  I am flying a single BAe ATP and it costs almost as much to maintain as my 4 atr's!!!

If you want to try something unique, go with the AN-140.  If you want something more traditional, go with a Dash-8.
