Just another seat configuration question

OK, if you set standard (not factory default, but standard) seating on a long haul plane, obviously you'll get more seating than factory default. But say the max seating on a plane with standard economy, business, and first is say 400. Say you put 8 first class, 32 business, and what you have left is 300 open seats for economy, if you put only 270, will the game count it as having more seat pitch making it a bit more comfortable.

Daemus

Comfort levels are set based on seating type (high-density, standard, premium, etc). Having less seats than max, 270 instead of 300 in your example, would do nothing more than increase your max flight distance. Might be something Sami could confirm but that is the way I believe it works in the sim.

Unfortuantly, I thought that was the case. I was just hoping so there would be a sort of middle ground in between standard and premium.

Powi

There is PAX comfort figure shown on config page that increase when the number of seats is decreased. I understand that it also affects (minimally) to pax distribution calculations.

Daemus

I didn't know that the comfort level changed based on how many seats vs max were selected. Always something new to learn. Thanks Powi!

Sami

Seat pitch itself isn't really there yet but I'm just starting to build it for v.1.3.
