Email newsletter poll

AirwaySim offers wide range of options to get information about the latest news and updates. These are our website (news & forums) of course, and also Facebook fan page, Twitter page and also the email newsletter. News RSS feed is also available.

The e-mail newsletter has been sent out in 1 to 3 month intervals depending on the number of news updates on the site; but not as often as the other news since we don't wish to spam and sent out thousands of emails for just some small news.

Here's the question for the poll though: If you are a subscriber to our newsletter (or otherwise interested of that), how often would you like to receive the email updates? There are on average 1-4 news items posted to our site every month and naturally posting newsletter for a single small update is not feasible but on general level would you like to receive emails only from the major news or from also smaller things, and how often.

I think once a month is a great number. Because weekly newsletter is to much, i bet that there will not be so much juice in them then. But once a month is great. It takes alot of work off Sami's shoulders and the newsletter gets more interesting and juicey

I think, the monthly variant is ok, but:

It depends, on how much You have to write. Please don't send out a newsletter, when there are no news. Or don't hold back with the news, that You have, because Your newsletter has just gone out, and You want to wait for the next one. News can only be good, as long as they are fresh and interesting.

Nice a twitter account! But you guys only are spreading the news. Twitter is a great medium but not how Airwaysim is using it. In my opinion it's better to communicate with the userbase! Just my thougts
