Although I do agree that so many depatures at the same time is silly. I do have to correct you a little about IRL operations. I worked for a major airline that had hubs in LAS and PHX. We would have two and sometimes 3 flights at either the same time or within 5 mins of each other. Did this mainly for connections which doesn't apply in AWS. But it does happen IRL.
