great pics.  Any of the 787???

Thanks mate, B787, A400M flew back on thurs after the trade days. QR had their 777W (I think) but that flew on friday. Airbus had A380 and also A318 (BA) . All the military lot was on static display ( I dont even know the names of most, all those F16;s etc etc). B52 did a flay past on saturday but I heard due to techinical fault it did not on sunday.

cheers

Great pictures....

Reminds me of one and a half week ago when the A380 first landed at Amsterdam.
Airbus 101 final 18R "Polderbaan"

Okay this is the original, with extreme blurred sky due to the stupid sun hich came along when we just didn't need him.
Airbus 102 Holding short 18L, almost ready for Farnborough...

And with some Adobe... "Let's make it a bit more realistic" features.

And guess what... the sound of that thing is so.... uhhmm... how would I call it.... soft? Really that's the only thing about it that s*cks. You expect a terrible noise when it takes off... it just doesn't.

Here is a nice video (just 20 meters from my position) with the A380 take off from Schiphol:

Fortunately it did fly, I was there on Sunday and it did a flypast... kinda took me by surprise, but it was breathtaking.

You got some really nice shots of the A380, one of my favourite planes congrats. What camera + lens were you using?

I had a great time there, just wish I could of been there for the trade days to see the 777, A330F, 787, A400M, SSJ, F22, An-158.

Great time got loads of pics I might post some when I get hold of them, looking forward to Paris airshow next year already!

I was disappointed too when I heard 787, A400M, SSJ  An158 all had gone, we pay soo much but its always a pleasure to see the A380 do its tricks.  This year I took only 250+ pics compared to 2008 when the count reached almost 700+ LOL.

I use Nikon D-50 with 18-55, 70-300 and 80-400 lenses .

I made it to Farnborough on the Saturday, and came away with a little bit of sunburn too! Some of my pics:

It's difficult to fit the A380 all in frame for a photo!

The mighty GP7200.

The beautiful gulled wing.

Massive interior - it feels like a small factory/workshop or warehouse! Especially on the main deck with its vertical walls.

I don't think much of the wooden IFE  ;)

Upstairs.

The front office.

The display routine chart.
