Opening Bases

I didnt see anything in the manual, but i thought new bases could be open after the airline is one year old. My airline is one year old with 19 planes and I cannot open a new base.

Something that has been bugging me about bases that I wouldn't mind seeing is the ability to see how much opening a new base would cost even if you are not big or old enough to do it.

Example being I am currently in JA2 and have filled all useful demand from my main base but I am not yet old enough to open a second hub. It would be really useful to see how much I will need when 18 months rolls around as currently I can't decide if to just sit on my hands and wait for 18 months to come or to buy so a/c to lease, knowing how much the second base would cost would really help my decision.

Well, as discussed in a thread in the Bug Forums, the cost displayed currently by the system of what your base will cost is really only about 10% of the actual increase in costs.  So perhaps that needs to be fixed before we worry about the ability to see it prior to being 18 months old.
