Changing planes in an existing schedule

First off, great management simulation I am enjoying it tremendously and look forward to the challenges ahead  :)

Secondly, I have an existing route flown by a BAE 146-300, this is a profitable route and I want to expand seat capacity by upgrading the plane to a A319. Can anyone tell me the simple way to swap the planes over without re-loading the schedule for this new plane ??

thanks

Mike

You have to manually change all routes from BAE 146 fleetgroup to A320 fleetgroup, including the longer turn-around-times.

In most cases you can keep the slots, but sometimes it's easier (or/and better) to delete the old routes (without releasing slots) and make a completely new schedule.

LOL You just barely beat me to it, Curse.  :P Yeah, do remember to change your turn-around time in the route edit screen, because unless you've already changed your fleet settings, the game won't update it for you. Interestingly, even though the A319 will have 10 minutes longer minimum delay before it can depart again on the schedule, its engines are fast enough that it arrives 10 minutes earlier, so you shouldn't have to change any of the departure times on any of the following routes on the schedule. That's definitely a time-saver!  Get it? Time-saver? ... Eh, whatever. So yeah, good luck with the new a/c.
