Hi

Is there a lot of difference between the beginners world and the others?

Cheers

Make an educated guess...

I did and it was to ask the forum for confirmation.

The competition is a bit harder (namely in the sheer numbers, not particularly in the skill level), but the functionality of the game is exactly the same (provided you're playing a 1.2 Beginner's game)

Are you sure? My experience in BW7 so far has been that, compared to ATB, there are at least a few differences in functionality. LF% increases more quickly and appears to be less sensitive to very high prices, loan interest rates are lower, and the used market is refreshed more often with more planes of more common types. For example, I regularly grab 2 B752s and some MD-80s every night from BW7 used market within a fairly predictable range of time, and I could probably grab more if I were really paying attention. Given that BW7 has ~400 players fewer than ATB, and given that the system is, "used market adds XX a/c per tick where XX is connected to number of players in game," as sami has posted elsewhere, the two servers are not functioning the same, assuming that there isn't some sort of minimum # of planes that the used market would put out in ATB if there were only 150 players in it. But maybe I'm just consistently lucky. I can't say for sure.
