airport slot pricing

Hello all,

I started the game some days ago in the Demo version and switched to the regular game yesterday. ( I love aeronautics... ) Planning my flights, I was surprised that airport slots were so cheap in the BW7 than I used to pay in the Demo version . The system says it is new operation discount and new airline discount.

How much are these discounts and how long does this last ? I couldn't find the answer in the manual or in this forum, so I ask.

As an information, I have slots for less that USD 4 000 in the BW7, but they were USD 60 000 to 90 000 in the Demo version.

Can't remember either directly but the "new airline" discount applies to all slots for the first months of operation.

"New operation" then means that you are new to that particular airport and they 'welcome' the new airline by lowering their prices a bit. It is available only for the first 1-2 routes you make there.

Slot cost is also directly proportional to the number of slots available, number of slots your airline uses vs. number of slots available and some other factors. Class 1-3 airport slots are free, larger airport slots cost.
