Hello,

I would just like to hear some general comments if you operated this type.

+ How does it perform compared to the 777 and overall is it worth buying it or just use A380 or 777s instead?

Depends on which types you already have in fleet and how much will be the commonality level of those new types. Please be advised that the engines of the A380 should be IAE or RR, with the RR ones belonging to the Trent Series, so if you already have a B777 with those engines, you may save some USD in maintenance costs. The B748 will have GEnX engines, so a totally new engine and I'm quite doubtful that there will be any commonlaity between the B744 and the new B748...

I doubt there will be some commonality between the 744 an 748 in the game. IRL there is some, as 744 pilots only take 3 days to pass to the 748.

Anyway, profitability?

Proftability for the 748? Really do not know... I do not even have any figure for the leasing fees, not even considering the range and the pax limit. The pax capacity is still a problem in this game: not all the a/c have the correct pax capacity and so I really do not know anything about profitabilty.
Anyway, You will have for sure to open a new line for the maintenance of engines, and I really do not know anything about the administrative fees and f/a training!:)

blumage operated both types. he said that both were profitable, had a fair amount of commonality, and he found it better than the 777 for certain routes, but overall the 777 was better......the A380 is in it's own market, so don't compare it to that......

blumage-correct me if i'm wrong about what you told me.....
