I have been wondering lately about these PNF recorded videos, isn't there something in the rules about the PNF being 100% ready to take over, scanning instruments or just generally concentrating on the job in hand ie landing.

I'm not knocking these videos i enjoy them, but i can't help but get the feeling that while this pilot is watching the camera screen for good shot he's not double checking instruments, guages etc

your thoughts?
