Found this rather interesting clip of an IL-76 struggling to get up to speed.  I guess it underlines the importance of checking the runway length your aircraft need!  ;D

Wasnt there a runway that isnt completely getting nailed with crosswinds like that?

I've heard a story of my mom's neighbor.  He used to be a DC 10/MD 11 pilot for AA.  He said the craziest landings was when they were looking out the cockpit side windows when landing.

i like this one becuase everything seems well proportioned, no fuzzy guages no wandering lense into clouds and no lengthy over the nose shots... i like good clear instruments and atmosphere.
