At the beginning slot cost are very cheap about 40-100 USD When you use a lot of slot or your company grow bigger it cost you more expensive slot than the beginning from 1,000-50,000 USD  :)

If have a question on slot costs.  Is the charge a one-time charge when you open the route or is it ongoing?

Thanks!

I saw somewhere else the the slot fee is a one time payment.  Thanks anyway!

don't understand why i have to pay slot 2 times: right for the firt time, opening new flight, but the second time, when i closed the route, i have paid them too!!! and 10 times the real price!!! >:( >:( >:(

No, you are not paying for them two times. You are misunderstanding the concepts of basic accounting here since slots are treated as assets. You actually PAY for them when you open the route, but you create a tax-deductible EXPENSE when you close the route (or lose the slots in some other way). At the second stage no cash changes hands...

Manual explains in detail: https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Manual/Office/Accounting/

(also, just noticed that this thread is originally from 2010, so the information here might not be accurate anymore)

(Also please refrain from using excessive amount of unnecessary smileys in the future)
