Merry Christmas from the US, where we probably get a lot more snow in some places than some of you think.  We've already had places with snowfall in the 15' (about 5 meters) range in some of my territory (and this was at sea level, not in the mountains) and even the large rotary plows couldn't get it clear in one pass.  Temperatures were -30C with a windchill factor of over -40C.

True. But Dallas is not central texas 

In the Austin metro area it rarely snows. We've had 1 or 2 hard freezes, but thats about it this year. I think the last it snowed was back in '04 on X-mas.
