Flying to Alliance hubs

will flying to alliance hubs do anything eg increase load factors, or increase loads on that route

Rumours say that it should increase the LF and the rating of your alliance but I've never verified it... Let's say that it surely hepl in slpitting the offer capacity 50% and setting the same tariffs for the flights!

Gives you increase in LF. That's pretty much all it does.

All routes as far as I know. It doesn't matter if they fly to your hubs or not (or vice versa).
