How to reinvite alliance founding member

Hi there.
Is there any way how to reinvite alliance founding member who already rejected but changed his mind and would like to start it?

Once you invite an Airline to become a founding member, they have 12 months to accept. Also, once they have rejected or failed to create an alliance, they have to wait 12 months before they are able to join and/or create another alliance.

Thanks for your clarification.

That seems a little harsh considering there is no warning whatsoever of that impact when making the choice.

The situation that Samo refers to was the result of a misunderstanding and communication breakdown. Now the Alliance and the member are penalized?  Is there anywhere that I can read-up more about this?\
