Quick Engines Question

In JA-3, is the "Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R2800CB17" that is used on the DC-6B, the same as the "Pratt & Whitney R2800 Double Wasp" that is used on the Convair CV-240/340/440"???

the fleet commonallity was some kind of killed, because it said th one is:

Pratt&whittney --> wasp series --> R2800 Double Wasp

and the other was:

Pratt&whittney double wasp --> R2800CB17

you should work on that sami, thanks for bugfixing that!!

Question: does this mean my maintenance expenses will be higher now coz I have 2 types of engines? hope not coz I will have to return the aircraft I just leased :-S
