How long does it take airlines to go bankrupt?

I've been watching several airlines in the red some by a huge margin and they seem to survive month after month.

One of them has been in the hole almost -200 million and somehow survives month after month.

Well, we don't know how urgent the situation is. It might be that he has 5 mio in cash and loans of 255 mio. That would not make him go bankrupt.
