Used a/c market strange behaviour?

How can a used a/c market which one day has 4 pages full of DC-4's practically overnight become totally empty??? It seems very strange to me that about 200 a/c suddenly disappears and it affects my whole planning and progress. I don't believe 200 players suddenly have bought all used DC-4's at this stage of the game or?? 
I don't know what is going on in this game but this is really ridicolous and totally 'unrealistic'.

Not sure it's a bug what you have witnessed. According to the aircraft information breakdown, there are only 11 * DC4 left in storage now.

We've reached a point a few days in where the initial fight against the red line has ended for a lot of airlines and the snowball effect is starting to kick in.

For what it's worth you can order new DC4 or you can branch out into other fleets too

562 produced in total (and that's not that much) and it is one of the more popular types. Supplies lasted surprisingly long. Top 5 DC4 users took 20% of the supply (108 airframes). Nothing unusual.

Well ok, I was just surprised all of them disappeared over night so I had a decision to make.. Either go order new DC-4's or.. "Plan ahead" a bit more.
Took the decision for the future and ordered Vickers Viscount's instead. The real history can't be wrong: "The most remarkable order 1954 was from the Capital Airlines in the United States which ordered sixty aircraft with a total value of $ 67 million. The airliner staked its whole operation on the Vickers Viscount 800"

Hard to go wrong with the Viscount, some nice variations and it has great legs. Running costs will make your competition groan.
