Early Days game starts this Saturday
« on: August 26, 2015, 07:57:48 PM »
The next AirwaySim game world starts this Saturday. The Early Days scenario is a shorter mini-game that we run from time to time besides of the four longer main game worlds.

This short game world will introduce the players to the early post-war era of commercial air transport. The scenario starts near year 1950 and will have about two months of play time.

The estimated launch time for this game is Saturday August 29th, at about 19.00 UTC. The game clock will start to tick 12 hours after the launch (= on Sunday morning).

You can start your airline operations with a DC-3 and move on to other types as technology evolves. Unlike the real history in 1940s and 1950s, this game world will have a significantly increased passenger travel demand to make the game more fun. Also some normal game rules and restrictions about technical stopovers and airport slots are relaxed for more enjoyable and competitive game.
