Executive Express Brings Back the Tu-144
Six Months. One Last Supersonic Goodbye.
Executive Express is delighted to announce the return of the Tupolev Tu-144 to passenger service for a strictly limited six-month farewell tour, in partnership with Bober 67.
After several decades of careful consideration — and absolutely no consultation with our engineers — we have decided the aircraft deserves one final chance to do what it does best:
Fly extremely fast, extremely loudly, and extremely expensively.
The Tu-144 will operate selected Executive Express routes until the aircraft reaches its mandatory 35-year retirement age, at which point it will be removed from service.
Passengers can expect:
* Supersonic Mach 2 travel
* Champagne and premium dining
* 1970s Soviet engineering
* 2026 ticket prices
* Bober 67 hospitality
* An experience unlikely to be repeated
Executive Express is also aware that the Boeing 787 has just entered service, offering passengers modern cabins, improved fuel efficiency and considerably more sensible economics.
We do not care.
"We know it's old, thirsty and probably better suited to a museum," said the CEO.
"But aviation is about pushing boundaries. And apparently, ignoring sensible retirement plans."
At the end of the six-month tour, the Tu-144 will make its final commercial flight before being permanently retired.
