Founded in Tehran in the summer of 1950, Alborz Imperial was established with a simple ambition: to place Tehran at the crossroads of the world's great air routes.
From our home at Mehrabad Airport, Alborz Imperial will connect Persia with the cities of the Middle East, Europe, the Caucasus and beyond. Our aircraft carry the spirit of the Alborz Mountains. Strength, elegance and a sense of distance yet to be conquered.
Our first aircraft, the Curtiss-Wright C-46 Commando, marks the beginning of this journey. Built for demanding routes and rugged conditions, the Commando is ideally suited to opening the first links across Persia and its neighboring lands.
Our identity draws upon the artistic traditions of Persia: deep imperial blue, ivory, antique gold and intricate geometric ornament, crowned by the Alborz Imperial crest.
