FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chakruna Airlines Issues Statement Following "Turbulent" In-Flight Wellness Experience on Flight AX-9532
Airline assures passengers that Row 12 has been "spiritually and physically cleansed"

Chakruna Airlines, the premium carrier known for its "Fly High, Literally" tagline, today addressed reports of what the company is calling "an unscheduled group catharsis event" aboard Flight 9532 en route to Enlightenment (formerly known as Newark).
At approximately 30,000 feet, the aircraft encountered severe turbulence during what passengers described as "peak ceremony." Cabin crew, who had been quietly monitoring Row 14's fourth cup of medicine, report that the combination of clear-air turbulence and clear-air purging created what one flight attendant called "a 360-degree exorcism."
"We ask passengers to remain seated with purge buckets fastened at all times," said Captain Dave Ramirez, who has now requested a transfer to a Delta puddle-jumper route. "Unfortunately, several buckets became airborne themselves during the incident, which is not the kind of astral projection we advertise."
Chakruna Airlines maintains an impeccable safety record, having successfully completed 4,000 consecutive flights without losing a single passenger to the void — though several have reported "briefly becoming one with it."
The airline's in-flight menu, which controversially replaced peanuts with a "proprietary jungle brew" three fiscal quarters ago, remains under internal review. A spokesperson clarified that the beverage service is "still 100% optional" but noted that opt-out passengers have complained about "missing out on the group energy" and, more pressingly, "being splashed."
Passenger Karen Whitfield, seated in the now-infamous Row 12, offered mixed reviews: "I came for the confronting-my-childhood-trauma. I did not come for the confronting-my-neighbor's-lunch. Two stars. Would still fly again."
Chakruna Airlines has since implemented the following updates to its in-flight safety briefing:

Purge buckets are now secured with the same restraint system as the overhead bins
The "fasten seatbelt" sign will now also illuminate a secondary "fasten bucket" sign
Flight attendants have been issued ponchos, not for weather, but "for solidarity"
A new boarding pass disclaimer reads: "By flying Chakruna, you consent to sit next to someone's healing journey."

The airline stock (ticker: AYHA) dipped briefly following the incident but rebounded after the company announced Row 12 would be rebranded as "Premium Cleanse Class" and repriced accordingly.
Chakruna Airlines remains committed to its mission: getting you from Point A to a completely different, possibly enlightened, Point A.
