When you lease an aircraft OUT, is the lease price proportionate to the sale price you set, or is the lease price automatically set based on book value of the aircraft?.
A brand new aircraft from the manufacturer leases for more over 15yrs than my aircraft (0.8y/o) even though I set the sell price equal to a new aircraft, so I'm a bit confused...
It is set based on the selling price. The new orders add an additional fee, something like a month of payments, to the up front amount which should account for the payment difference.
Renewals are more of a black box but are typically tied to value from what I understand
