At the heart of this vision is a transformative fleet program, including the acquisition of fourteen brand-new Boeing 777-200 aircraft. These next-generation widebodies will enable ReedAir to introduce new long-haul, transcontinental services with unprecedented range, efficiency, and passenger comfort — unlocking direct connections previously out of reach for New Zealand travellers. As New Zealand's oldest airline this acquisition embodies our mantra of flying first, flying right.
This investment builds on ReedAir's strong and proven backbone fleet of Boeing 767 and Boeing 757 aircraft, which continue to reliably connect Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Americas.

Elevating the Domestic Experience
We are equally committed to redefining regional travel. The airline is upgrading its domestic fleet, transitioning from the reliable Fairchild Swearingen Metroliner to the modern Saab 340B, configured with a premium seating layout that offers exceptional legroom and comfort.
Looking ahead, we will further strengthen our oceanic domestic and regional network with the planned introduction of more than 100 Saab 2000 aircraft — the fastest turboprop in the world — bringing unmatched speed, efficiency, and accessibility to communities across the country.
Additionally, we have recently launched a premium 757 experience featuring our quality business class seating to Queenstown and Dunedin.
