Recent media attention surrounding FlightClub's executive compensation policies, operational rankings, and business practices has been noted. While we acknowledge the right of the press to ask questions, we also remind all parties that curiosity, when misdirected, can lead to consequences.

Yes, it is a matter of public record that our CEO, Peter "The Elbow" Braun, is paid a very high salary and currently ranks as the 45th wealthiest airline executive in the world. Yes, it is also a matter of record that FlightClub ranks 105th in profit, 118th in passengers transported, 166th in age, and 221st in departure punctuality. We recognize that some journalists see tension in these figures. We do not.

Mr. Braun has steered FlightClub through economic uncertainty, regulatory confusion, and more than one incident involving a goat on the runway. While certain members of the press have pointed out — somewhat breathlessly — that many of these difficulties were the result of Mr. Braun's own strategic choices, we see this not as a contradiction but as confirmation of his unique leadership. It takes rare talent to create a storm and then fly straight through it. He has led with vision, daring, and what some have described as an "unwillingness to explain himself." This is not a flaw. It is a management style. We reward that. Generously.

In recent weeks, several outlets have questioned whether FlightClub's prior-year financial losses were, quote, "entirely necessary." While the press concerns itself with "profitability" and "passenger volume," we focus on what truly matters: agility, instinct, and the rugged efficiency of a company that files fewer flight plans than it does insurance claims.

FlightClub remains committed to its course: unpredictable, unregulated, and uninterested in outside interference. We advise members of the press to observe from a safe distance. In our experience, those who press too hard often experience sudden turbulence. Flight plans change, manifests are revised, and not everyone who boards is guaranteed to land.
