Should this update be implemented also to this game world? We have still 9 months of run time left, and for game balance and level playing field this update would be reasonable.

The change would be made at a predetermined game date 2000-01-01 (approx. one month of real time from today).

My airline is in a single country so this rule will not benefit me. But it will benefit those that have airlines in multiple countries which is an advantage they didn't start the game with. Why change a rule like this mid-game? It would be different if it was a rule that affected everyone equally, like the fleet commonality rule.

At this stage of the game you can not open another base outside of your home country, so no advantages or disadvantages can be had by any player.....But I could be proved wrong  :P

What about Guam with options in the US?

The salary calculation rules will change in this game world.
