Hello, I was wondering if there is a way for a bidding process for 'failing' airlines. Instead of just going bankrupt, the CEO can put their airline into a bid module, where existing airlines in the region bid to buy the airlines with existing routes, debt, planes etc. Than the selling CEO can keep a certain % of the bid and carry it over when they restart. This way they have a better success and desire to start over in same world. The bidder airline would need to be aware of financial numbers on the airline.
I am currently working on the airline closure and restructuring features, but this won't be included so far. I'll make a note of this for future however.
just to extend on a part of this request. I advocated a while back that in games such as MT players get awfully large and awfully rich about 10 years in. I'm talking billions in the bank. This is a huge stopper for new players to join the game once it's started. So the game atrophies over time and we end up with the same players executing the same strategies over and over.
I'd like if a player joining a game midway through received, say, 1billion $ for startup capital rather than the 20Mill at mo. 20M is just an invitation to a big airline to squash them. Perhaps the caveat is they can't start at an airport where the lowest capitalised airline has less capital than the proposed new players capital (eg ZBAA has a player with 100M net worth, so somebody getting a billion can't start at ZBAA). They can start at any airport that has zero players.
We need a way to keep games interesting as time goes by... and this would be fun for newbies to jump in with a large wedge of money. More casino, less plod/Raahustaa .

Startup capital is, and has been for a very long time, dynamic and increasing over time when game progresses. There are also a lot of other helping features for those who do not start on day 1.
