When does the noise Certification requirement become a factor? I'm trying to use Soviet airliners but all of them except the upcoming AN-10's are Chapter 1. I don't want to own $30M in Soviet aircraft and suddenly get airport banned in 2 years.
According to the manual,
'First limitations activate in the United States in 1985 when Chapter 1 aircraft are banned. Similar regulations activate in 1988 for Europe, while Chapter 2 aircraft bans start in year 2000.'
Also from the same page (https://manual.airwaysim.com/simulation-documentation/noise-regulation), you will get the first notification 8 years before they become active. So at this stage I wouldn't worry too much about the ratings on anything.
