Jakarta - Indonesia Today, Anjani Air Service unveils a new livery. In a released press statement, the new livery is nicknamed "The Equator Emerald". Inspired by the tropical theme, the new livery features different shades of green and blue. In a clear departure from the old livery, the new livery portrays a fresh image for the airline.
A spokesman for Anjani Air Service stated, "The interior will also be updated using this new theme. The seats will have a new color based on the new livery. The same goes for our cabin crew uniform as well. These changes are not only cosmetic, but will also apply to our service. Anjani Air Service strives to be a world-class airline."
Addressing critics who said the new livery does not represent Indonesia, unlike the old livery, he continued, "The new livery is everything about Indonesia. The different shades of blue and green represent our sea, our tropical vegetation, and our sky. It also represents the new era as we're in the last decade of this century."
Anjani Air Service has stated that its airplanes will gradually be painted with the new livery as soon as they hit the C service schedule. Currently, only three Airbus A320s are painted with the new livery. All upcoming planes will also be delivered in the new livery. However, it seems that their Fokker F-28 and McDonnell Douglas DC-9 will not be painted with the new livery as they are on schedule to be returned to the lessor soon.
